CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Seattle, WA

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Job Description
The Construction Project Manager provides the planning, coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure they meet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule, from initial project identification through construction closeout.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary contact and liaison for owner and principal partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables.
- Develops project specific procedures and documentation and may consult with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project.
Functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements. - Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities.
- Reviews and summarizes project data, conducting field checks for compliance of construction with design documents, monitoring, reporting and providing recommendations to the Project Director.
- Successfully manages and executes 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity from $.25M to $3M each.
- Identifies projects risks, creating and implementing risk mitigation plans.
- Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings.
- Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout.
- Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
- May coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities.
- Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project
- Manager or Construction Manager managing multiple construction projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational facility design and construction in the Transportation or Education Sector.
- Knowledge and application of A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction management, cost control, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering and construction principles, contracts, and various construction delivery methods (e.g., design-bid-build, CM at-risk, etc.) are required.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Prolog and Primavera are required.
- Experience with using a web based project management system such as Procore.
- Experience in alternative delivery methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CCM, or LEED AP certification
