The SR520 Montlake project is a four-year reconstruction of the existing highway that adds a landscaped lid and reconfigures the Montlake Boulevard interchange for improved travel safety, traffic capacity and transit system integration. The project completes a regional, cross-lake bicycle/pedestrian path along the entire corridor, with connections to local trails on both sides of Lake Washington.
Ergosync is leading the integration and commissioning activities. Systems include traffic signals, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), CCTV, lighting, fire detection and suppression for the Montlake underlid, irrigation, electrical, and mechanical systems – all integrated with the WSDOT regional traffic management center.

The Mukilteo Multimodal Project provides for the design and construction of a new Mukilteo ferry terminal and multi-modal transit facility connecting commuters to train and bus transit. The facility includes passenger and maintenance buildings, a supervisor’s building, transit center and new toll booths. Ergosync performed communication and control systems design and fire detection system design including plans, specifications and estimates. Communications systems include network infrastructure, public address, visual paging, CCTV monitoring, telephones, fare collection, marine radio systems and ferry vessel wi-fi. Control systems include thebuilding management systems, weather monitoring, and PLC control of the overhead passenger loading hydraulics.

Erogsync was tasked for the civil systems integration and BMS design for the 2 stations and parking structure. Throughout the design process our engineers coordinated with all other disciplines to ensure a seamless integration between Civil and Systems contracts. This coordination required extensive 3D modeling using Revit to ensure all design elements were constructible.

This project extends light rail from Angle Lake Station in the city of SeaTac to the Federal Way Transit Center. The 7.8-mile extension with three stations and three garages.
Ergosync is serving as the Communications Systems design lead and Integration Manager. Work includes communications systems and building management system design. Integration management coordinates interfaces between all civil and systems disciplines.

Ergosync staff have been involved with Link Light Rail from the beginning. For the initial Central Link alignment, we provided communications and control systems design. During construction we provided construction management services until rail opening day. We also provided major design work for the communications systems and building management systems for all Link extensions including University Link, North Link, East Link and South Link. One of our significant contributions was the retrofit of the downtown tunnel where our personnel have extensive and special expertise with tunnel control systems and fire/life safety systems. We helped Sound Transit achieve final occupancy from the Seattle FireDepartment. We repeated this for the Hill tunnel. We also wrote the control system user manual and provided system operational training to the Seattle Fire Department.

Ergosync is currently providing Fire & Life Safety expert services, and serving as the owners Commissioning Agent for the I-90 Two Way HOV Lane Conversion project. This project includes a SCADA system upgrade for the Mt. Baker and Mercer Island I-90 tunnels. WSDOT selected Ergosynch because of our detailed knowledge of ,the systems in these tunnels. Our team performed the recent PLC upgrade in the tunnels replacing 12 existing PLC’s with over 3500 I/O points and over 40,000 lines of logic. We provided all engineering services including detailed panel drawings, programming, documentation, testing and commissioning.

The Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement tunnel, also known as the SR 99 Tunnel, is a bored highway tunnel in the city of Seattle, Washington, United States. The 2-mile (3.2 km), double-decker tunnel carries a section of State Route 99 (SR 99) under Downtown Seattle from SoDo in the south to South Lake Union in the north. Ergosync provided commissioning services for both the tunnel systems and building systems. Ergosync was selected by the Prime because of our expertise in tunnel systems.
